Memories

1. Leave a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Well lets see here, there was the time janice and you hooked me up with Jakob to go to homecoming dance. Or I remember standing in the kitchen at your moms house when you came home from ricks with aaron? I think that was his name or nick anyway and he locked himself in the bathroom, and I looked at you and said you and said you're gonna marry that? And you looked at me and said I dont know!!! Anyway I remeber what a special person you are and what a great friend you always have been and will be in the future, thanks steph for all the laughs and vent sessions we each need to have occaisionally!!!

The most memorable moment for me that involved you was when we were in middle school and mom had gone to her ceramics class. We had an arguement about something (I don't really remember what) and you ended up chasing me around the kitchen with a butcher knife. Lucky for me, mom came home and saved my life, otherwise you'd be out a best friend! Most of my other fondest memories include you and band- usually involving the freshmen or cody and some prank. My favorite of those is when we went to Benjamin to heart attack Cody's house and we got to the only stop sign in town and yelled for a Chinese Fire Drill with the freshmen. They got out and ran around the back of the car and we drove off! Oh, the joys of being a teenager. Can you believe some of the stuff we did?

My memories of you are many. I will always remember you playing the piano and how much I was touched by your marvelous touching of those keys to bring the Spirit into the room. What a magnificent talent which I hope you will never give up. It is just so soothing to listen to that magical music you produce. Along with that is your patience in working with me on my feeble attempt to take piano lessons several years ago. I wish that I could have been able to do more but pressures from teaching, etc. were too tremendous but I did enjoy rekindling what little ability I had of playing the piano. I also remember that thoughtful gifts and cards that you have given to me through the years. The depth of your thoughts written on the cards were very meaningful to me and really touched me and even helped me during some difficult times. You are a sweet daughter-in-law of whom I appreciate very much.
